hi, I’m Lisa
i’m a taiwanese canadian who grew up in vancouver lived in toronto throughout her 20s, and is now residing in los angeles
as a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle creator, i love sharing the evolution of modern living
in this new decade, i’m sharing all the new takes on a new lifestyle and exploring how small choices, thoughtful design, and intentional habits can elevate everyday life
this is thirties
20s for me was about figuring out what values to instill and i’m so glad that in my 30s this is what i want to see more of
the 30s principles
01
Non-Toxic Living Habits
trying to incorporate cleaner products/habits in my life.
this hasn’t been the easiest switch but i want to treat this like eating healthy foods… it might not be all the time, but the goal is to incorporate this so it becomes the baseline of my new lifestyle
02
TCM Principles
the older i get, the more i want to adopt a more natural lifestyle. in my 20s, i was on a lot of western medication including my adhd pills. i’ve switched to a predominantly natural lifestyle and trying (my best) to incorporate more TCM (traditional chinese medicine) principles.
03
Nervous System Regulation
i never knew my nervous system was “fried” until i spent four months in (almost) isolation in san francisco and taught myself how to regulate my nervous system through walks, eft tapping, and journalling. after changing my nervous system baseline, i vowed to never go back to that state again
04
Increasing Energy Standards
in my 20s i was friends with everyone. my energy was often dispersed and i had very minimal time to myself. the older i am, the more i realized the beauty in isolation. those moments of quiet is where we learn to tune into what we truly want and what aligns with our standards. this also means raising the standards of people we spend time with.
