Wilbur Mexicana

Today was the first official day of training and I finally (but really I just heard about it today) got a chance to try Wilbur Mexicana during lunch with some of my coworkers (wow I sound so adult right now… “coworkers” haha). Thankfully we missed the line-up so we got our food pretty quickly 😀 #thankgod #ihatewaiting #andscreamingchildren.

So my new friend Hitesh and I were talking and he suggested that I rate the place with more of a personal touch. Here goes:
Taste: Taste-wise, I love the tacos here. Didn’t really try anything else but the fish tacos were made really well :’) I’m the slowest eater and since we were on a time crunch I couldn’t really enjoy every bite like a human being should. On a scale of one to “this is gonna be my favourite food” it’s probably a 7?? Only because tacos aren’t my favourite food of all time but it’s still really good.
Ambiance: You can probably tell by the pictures that this place is pretty hip looking (aka instagram-worthy for all you social media lovers). Since the place was pretty big and people stop by for a quick bite, it was pretty easy for us to grab a seat. ALSO I’d like to mention that the washroom is very nice and not-smelly which is a bonus :’) #IHateBadWashrooms #IHateALotofThings
Date Spot: @Hitesh who gave me this idea LOL “from a scale of one to x number of dates…” this is probably more like a “I already know you pretty well so let’s just grab a quick bite to eat” kinda place. Not sure if it’s because we went on a weekday but the place still seemed pretty fast-paced & filled with people getting food for their lunch break… so PROBABLY not the best place to learn about your date’s childhood since so many people are walking in and out. But then again who am I to tell you where to date so do whatever you want #freecountry.
Price: This place was also pretty affordable! I believe everything on the menu was < $10 (unless you really stock up on tacos).
Overall, amazing place to go for lunch! If you’re in TO I highly recommend going here. Maybe I’ll even bump into you at lunch who knows :’) #OrNot #MaybeDontGoHere
