Caitlyn took me to try Earnest Ice Cream for the first time! When we drove by it, I saw this HUGE line-up and I was just praying that the line-up was for something else like… meet-and-greet with Luongo. Or something. I don’t know. I don’t care. Just anything but for Earnest because the only thing I hate more than my baby hair is probably waiting in line.
Thankfully, summer wasn’t over by the time I got my ice-cream because the line up was probably for around 15 minutes(?). When I was in Ontario, I would see a bunch of my friends post Instagram pictures of Earnest Ice Cream but I didn’t quite understand why everyone was so obsessed with it. I mean, this isn’t Justin Bieber (is he even still popular anymore?! #Whatever #SoOffTopic). But now I know. I think I saw an angel when I was up there in heaven for the duration of eating my ice cream #DramaQueenHour.
The flavours I got were Tahitian Vanilla (top scoop) and London Fog (bottom scoop). I didn’t really think much of the Tahitian Vanilla; I thought it tasted like any type of vanilla flavoured ice cream but you can tell it’s well-made. But London Fog. Oh…. London Fog… What can I say. If the fog in London was as amazing as it tastes, I think I’ll just live outside (get it? ‘Cause I actually live in London…? #DidAnyoneCatchThat #PlsLaugh)
If you haven’t tried Earnest Ice Cream, YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD. And get London Fog because I said so and I would be happy for you #NotConvincingAtAll.
Anyway, we also took some pictures up at Queen Elizabeth Park because we decided to relive prom without our dresses 😉 #JK #PromWasAight. I decided to put it in a different post because I thought the topic was kinda different so… yea.. #awkward. You can view the said post here.
Talk to you soon!!! #WhoAmITalkingTo
Lov(ing London Fog),
Lisa
PS – Almost forgot! We had sushi as well (I had to say it because the picture was quite nice so I didn’t want to waste my photo-editting skills) @ Sushi Nanaimo <— one of my favourite sushi places in Vancouver!
[…] and I also visited Queen Elizabeth Park after grabbing some ice cream (as mentioned in my London Fog post) since it was only a few minutes away. The last time I was here was prom. Has it actually […]
